The Opportunity: Senior QA Test Engineer 

As a Senior QA Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality of our platform. You will work closely with our Product and engineering teams, and other stakeholders to identify and report issues and recommend solutions to ensure the overall quality and performance of our products. Your expertise in test automation will be critical in developing and maintaining automated test suites to ensure ongoing quality and performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test cases and documentation to ensure accurate and thorough testing coverage. 


Given that our team is located in the Netherlands, we only consider candidates for this position who live within commuting distance to our office in Amsterdam.


What you'll do in this role

  • Being responsible for leading our efforts in setting up the QA testing strategy and plans for myTomorrows.
  • Collaborating with our engineering and product teams to deliver high quality products.
  • Designing and increasing our automated test coverage to keep our product development efforts scalable and time to market fast.
  • Developing and maintaining manual test case coverage and documentation where needed.
  • Reporting and tracking issues found during testing and ensuring timely resolution, while working closely with engineering.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance.
  • Mentoring and training junior members of our to be recruited QA team.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

Job requirements

This is the right opportunity for you if you:

  • Bring at least 5 years of experience in QA test automation or any related field.
  • Have experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Playwright, Rest Assured, Selenium or any other relevant frameworks.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python/Java/C#
  • Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with non-functional testing techniques is a plus.
  • Experience with driving things forward rather and taking initiatives.
  • Have strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies. 
  • Are an excellent problem-solver and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent (English) communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the organization.

Our current tech stack

  • We are fully cloud-native utilizing AWS and Azure. We adopt a Lean, API first product development approach leveraging cloud technologies and design practices.
  • Our web front-end applications are developed predominantly in Angular, using Django / Wagtail headless content management systems.
  • Our platform technologies, both microservice and AI, are developed in Python.
  • We also foster a rapidly growing expertise in knowledge graphs (Neo4j) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL restful etc.). In addition, we develop human in the loop Machine learning for healthcare in house such as LLMs and other NLP techniques.

We conduct a comprehensive search of databases worldwide and then provide patients and physicians with a personalized Treatment Search Report listing possible treatment options, such as clinical trials and expanded access programs.
