The opportunity: Senior Program Manager – Clinical Trial Operations 

The aim of our clinical trial recruitment and pre-screening programs is to

(1) increase patients’ and physicians’ clinical trial awareness and understanding,

(2) pre-screen patients to assess their potential clinical trial eligibility, and

(3) provide high-quality patient referrals to clinical trial sites.

As a Senior Program Manager, your main responsibility is to ensure (global) access to clinical trials via smooth-running digital patient recruitment and pre-screening programs. You are the first point of contact for Pharma or Biotech companies related to patient recruitment and pre-screening services and will manage the program. This is done with full operational support from cross-functional medical operations, marketing, legal, product, and engineering departments. 

What you will be doing in this role: 

  • Be the primary contact person for internal and external stakeholders for patient recruitment and pre-screening programs that are developed to boost clinical trial recruitment 

  • Collaborate internally and with our BioPharma client to ensure a smooth-running program and correct reporting 

  • Keep oversight of the program and manage all the ongoing activities and communication 

  • Develop strong relations and trust with all stakeholders and keep them up to date on the process/progress of your programs 

  • Achieve high customer satisfaction 

  • Develop and advise on solutions to tackle operational issues along with relevant subject-matter experts 

  • Be responsible for the onboarding and launch of new programs, including overseeing the development of recruitment materials (e.g., clinical trial landing pages with pre-screening questionnaires) 

  • Create detailed timelines including deliverables, milestones and objectives and ensure that deadlines are being met 

  • Contribute to improving our patient recruitment and pre-screening processes and strategies 

  • Support overall myTomorrows program performance and operations, as needed. 

Job requirements

What you bring to the table:  

  • University degree in Life Sciences/Healthcare (preferred) 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, of which 3+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry / CROs 

  • Knowledge regarding clinical trials and clinical trial patient recruitment 

  • Basic understanding of how web pages are built and function, to ensure a smooth collaboration with the Marketing, Product and Engineering teams 

  • Experience with fostering positive business relationships and promoting value through customer experience, networking 

  • A good eye for detail; thinking in processes/operations comes naturally to you 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 

  • Client orientation, you thrive on customer success 

  • Results-driven driven, and you have endless ambition to succeed in your role 

  • Self-motivated, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and are not afraid to take ownership. 

  • Able to analyze issues, optimize processes and find, and recommend alternative solutions
